AIM is an acronym for a various number of things:

  1. American Indian Movement
  2. AOL Instant Messenger
  3. An alliance formed between Apple, IBM and Motorola which was responsible for the PowerPC design.
  4. The advanced version of the KIM (Keyboard Input Monitor) 6502 Microprocessor demonstration board, by Rockwell.
