Silver

A metal and chemical element, in the periodic table Silver has the symbol Ag and atom number 47

Silver was long considered the second most precious metal, second to gold.

Silver has high electrical and thermal conductivity; even better than copper, but its greater cost has prevented it being widely used in place of copper for electrical purposes.

Principal uses of silver are as a precious metal, and halide salts of silver are used in photography
