The Deutsche ArbeiterPartei or German Workers Party founded by Anton Drexler in Munich was a Volkische political organization, one of many that sprung up in the early days of the Weimar Republic. It would eventually change its name to National Socialist German Workers Party or NSDAP and come to greater prominance.
