A dystopian novel written by Ray Bradbury, in which books have been banned and the central character, Guy Montag, is employed as a "fireman," which, in this case, means "book burner." Fahrenheit 451 is the temperature at which books burn. The book was made into a film by François Truffaut, undergoing some plot changes.
