In biology, genome refers to the complete set of all an organism's genes. to the extent that the organism's genes and the complete set of its chromosomal dna can be considered the same thing, genome can also refer to the entire sequence of an organism's chromosomal dna.

The Human Genome Project aims to give an entire map of the human genome.
