The health sciences include not only traditional first aid, triage and medicine, but also dentistry, psychiatry, disease and counseling, veterinary science, nursing, physical therapy and other kinds of therapy, like occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, respiratory therapy and recreational therapy, as well as midwifery, hospice care, home care, nutrition, and alternative medicine, pharmacology, toxicology.
