Native American tribes.

There are three recognized tribes remaining - the Kickapoo of Kansas, the Kickapoo of Oklahoma, and the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas.

The name comes from the Algonquin word Kiwegapawa, meaning "he stands about".
