Neil Kinnock, former leader of the British Labour Party. Nicknamed by Private Eye magazine "the Welsh Windbag", he had the thankless task of leading the party, during labour's "unelectable" period, and was thanked for losing a general election by being replaced by Tony Blair.

He is now vice-president of the European commission.
