Poznan is a city in central Poland. 600,000 inhabitants. Located over the river Warta. It used to be Polish capital in mid 10th century during the Piast dynasty. Impressive Poznan Cathedral is the earliest Christian church in Poland. During the period of partition (19th century), Poznan was part of Prussia (called Pozen in German). After WW2, it became a vibrant center for trade, industry, and education
