W. H. Auden (1907 - 1973), English poet. Auden is perhaps now best known for Funeral Blues which was cited in the smash 1994 film Four Weddings and a Funeral, although prior to this Auden had enjoyed considerable popular recognition in the United Kingdom as the poet who wrote the lyrics to the Post Office film, Night Mail.
